Description
The Maintenance (Service) Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the apartment community. The Maintenance (Service) Technician performs general and preventative maintenance repairs. They perform specific carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, masonry and other general maintenance duties.
Qualifications:
- Perform maintenance related tasks.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate hand tools.
- Knowledge of Safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills and be able to create and close out work orders preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting building issues and repairs.
- Plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair.
- Diagnose and repair household appliances.
- Perform general building maintenance.
- Maintain grounds and swimming pool.
- Trash management and curb appeal enhancement.
- Use customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers.
- Follow safety and compliance rules and procedures.
